First of all, you know that I (like thousands of others) love the WPPA plugin πŸ™‚

The various widgets are very handy. But, I think they could be a bit friendlier in terms of flexibility and options. I’ll just give one example:

Most of the settings for the Thumbnail widget are made in the WPPA admin settings – this limits the webmaster’s options as to what can be done. For instance, the order of the thumbnails is dependent on the album settings or the default order setting. I’d like to be able to choose most of these options at the widget level (random, by name, by date, ascending/descending sort, number of thumbs, size of thumbs, etc.), even if those settings are different at the album level.

Alternately, I would really like to perhaps have some additional future shortcode variables and options to create very specific results that could mimic more customizable widgets.

Thanks again for the great plugin.

I understand your wishes, it is a matter of time, and i also understand that the amount of work to do in programming to achieve this is easily underestimated, what i therefor do not blame you.
