# Maximum password length

 * What is the maximum user password length in wordpress?
 * Why, if you enter a password that is too long, does it fail silently? WordPress
   accepts the text you’re setting for a new password, but I think it truncates 
   this value and then sets the password incorrectly.
 * I’m using a 32-char password with alpha-numerics plus some symbols.
