• Hi,
We really like the Hueman theme including how it puts lots of recent posts automatically on the front page.

It puts about 20 posts before the Next Page link. This makes the page quite long on mobile.

Is there a way to specify 10 posts before the Next Page link?

We tried a plug in Custom Posts Per Page but this does not seem to change the number of posts on the front page.

    Any thoughts? Thank you. Nina

  • Hello talariaenterprises,

To set number of posts per page go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most and change the value to anything you want.

Don’t forget to clear both WordPress and browser cache afterward.

    Hope that helps.
    Take care! 🙂

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately the option “Blog Pages Show at Most” doesn’t seem to change the front page. I have it set for 6 — but the front page still has 22 posts.

Wish it worked, but it doesn’t seem to.

    Hi @talariaenterprises,

The solution provided by @fadingmusic works properly.
Please see my screen-cast showing that option works.

Please remove the plugin that you had mentioned in your initial support request.
It could be interfering with the setting.

Please also check if you are using a cache plugin such as W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache.
If you are using such plugin, you need to clear it’s cache content in order to allow updated content to show on your website.

You will also need to clear browser history, if you are having difficulty getting the changes to update.

    Thank you
