Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

    Any idea and tip to resolve this error below? Thanks in advance.

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/gaponnet/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceScanner.php on line 161

    Another problem I have is that the Wordfence Option does not display. The tab icon just keep spinning and spinning forever.
