Did you get any error messages when you reinstalled / activated the plugin again?

I think something went wrong with the database table. But I have to check that myself. Could you send an temporary administrator login to support [at] maxfoundry.com ?

Thanks for taking the time to look. You should have an email with the login now.

    Hi,

I looked at it, but something weird is happening. The javascript file that’s being loaded into the plugin is an old version. Even the file on your server is different from the one being loaded into my browser.

Do you use some kind of server-side caching or other mechanics that prevent from loading the updated JS file?

It’s also possible you use some kind of CDN, in that case please refresh it.

I don’t know of any server-side caching or CDN. This is just a shared hosting account with Go Daddy.
I tried uninstalling again and removing the tables from the database before the reinstall. That still doesn’t seem to have fixed the issue.

I also tried another site we have on the same hosting account. I updated the plugin and it works fine on that site so this looks site specific and not necessarily the server.

That could be the case, but somehow the server doesn’t return the new javascript file, although I can see it as installed. That’s the issue, it isn’t related to anything else, just to load that new file.

You could try to disable all plugins (except MaxButtons ) and see if that helps anything.

I tried disabling all plugins with no luck. I will see if Go Daddy can offer any assistance. Thanks

Let me know what the result is. I’m curious how something like this can happen.

After spending about an hour with Go Daddy still no resolution. Due to time constrains I just deleted the plugin and am using the button shortcode from the Avada theme. If you come across a solution let me know as I like your buttons better.

    Thanks Trenthhh,

We’ve pinged the Theme Fusion guys and we’ll try to figure it out. It might take a bit as vacation is starting to creep in over here. But we do have it on our list.
