• I successfully created beautiful MaxButton and pasted the short code:
[maxbutton id=”1″] into the “Home Middle #2 Widget” so it would display on home page and link to an internal web page. However only plain text version of button displays (link works).

I tried some listed workarounds suggested on forum under modifying “theme function .php” to accept short codes to no avail.

    Help appreciated

Do you have “Use External CSS checked? If not have you tried “Use !important”

    John:
Yes I have tried both of those checked and unchecked to no avail. Other solutions?
    Thanks

Do you have caching turned on? That is sometimes the culprit. What does the output look like. Is it trying to use the CSS from MaxButtons?

I apologize but unsure where to check if caching is turned on? The Maxbutton plug-in shows on my wordpress editing bar and have tried to also insert the button on regular web page with same plain text outcome.

I saw you were able to get this working. What were you able to do to fix it?
