# max_input_vars = 3000 causing a database error

 * I’m using the [Advanced Custom Fields plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/)
   for creating custom fields.
 * I had to modify the php.ini in order to be able to add more fields. After I have
   added the ‘max_input_vars = 3000’ in my php.ini file I was able to add more fields,
   it actually solved the problem.
 * My problem is that after I have modified the php.ini file I get a database error.(
   Error connection to database).
 * My wordpress instalation is running on a VPS, 2048 MB Memory, 2X cores and I’m
   using the VestaCP as a control panel. I’m using the 4.2.2 version of WordPress.
 * Does anyone have any idea what is might causing this problem?

   to figure this out for you.

    I have mailed them and waiting for their answer. 
   Just asked here, maybe anyone had the same problem and might helped me…
