max-width of select text within a cell

    Hi and thank you for TablePress. I have a table that has the contents of each cell via plugin options CSS. Within that table, there is a cell that has one section of text for which I want the width narrowed, within the cell. Using the advanced editor, I tried putting that section of text in a <div> and using max-width just for that div, but that removes the centering for that text. Any suggestions? I don’t know how the different levels of CSS interact. Thanks much.

    That sounds like a good approach. Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens (and tell me which cell, etc.), so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Sorry for the delay. Just for closure: my problem went away when my client (aka my wife) filled up the cell with more text. Thanks.
