 * Dear Forum Support,
 * Each plugin author disclosed for their plugin the min. version of php on the
   plugin page.
 * However, with new versions of php being introduced regularly, I kindly request
   a change of the plugin page to also include the max version of php a plugin is
   compatible with.
 * I believe this significantly improves efficiency for developers when creating
   and troubleshooting website.
 * Kind regards,
 * Piet

 * There you can also see why it was rejected or hasn’t been implemented yet. If
   you have anything to add, feel free to share your thoughts there.

 * This is not “Max version” as higher version does not limit execution of plugin
   code.
   “Tested up to” – will be more correct, same as used for WordPress versions

 * Dear [@fierevere](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fierevere/)
 * This is a very good point and your phrase implies that the plugin author has
   actually ‘tested’ his plugin upto this version.
