I have been using your plugin for several years without issue but I recently had to change to a larger dedicated server. Since then the buttons often show up as text instead of the button. It is quite random but seems to be worse on Safari and Opera. It does the same thing on Chrome, but not as often.

I have deactivated and deleted the plugin and downloaded and installed a new copy.

I have replaced the buttons with new ones.

    I am using WP 5.0.3.

Could there be a security setting on my server that is affecting this? I can’t think of anything else, or what else to try.

Would appreciate your help. Thank you.

  • I am having this same issue! This just happened to me over the weekend – no changes made, I even restored to a backup of my site from last week. The links work, but all of the formatting of the button does not.

I’m http://www.carolinetalbot.com – Hopefully this is the same issue on both sites and is an easy fix.

As an example – bottom center of the home page you’ll see “start your experience” and that should be (and was) a button.

Love your website!!!! Fantastic photography! Clean lines. Love it!

Thank you! Hopefully we’ll both end up with clean lines on buttons soon!

    Hi,

Please read our FAQ about TablePress 🙂

The ‘random’ behavior is caused by the difference of having a login or not.

As a word of advice when testing a website – also check it without being logged in, perhaps via a different browser. Often it gives different results.

As for @carolinetalbotphoto , perhaps give the cache a good reset. The styles don’t seem to load at all.

@basszje I’ve tried clearing the cache, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Nothing changed on my site, so I’m not really sure what the issue is.

If you look in your source you can see that the maxbutton styling is entangled with google codes. I’m not sure how that can happen, but I’d check the footer code to see if everything is ok there?

A thing to try is to maybe put ‘style=inline’ on the shortcodes, like so:

    [maxbutton id="x" style="inline"]

That might help. But as said it seems something is messing up your code there, probably Google Analytics also don’t work now.

Thank you. The shortcode fix worked, and I’ll definitely look into what’s going on in the code in general!

Thank you so much! That worked for me too.
