    This was possibly the third theme I have built. I could have used a premade theme but wanted to learn more about everything WordPress.

    I need a new site for my fine art and photography. Previously I was using Shopify which was too limiting for my taste.

    For the base styles I used Twitter Bootstrap with custom styles on top.

    The E-commerce functionality is powered by WooCommerce.

    First I want to say that I love the art/pictures. The layout and design of the site is great.

    A few things that I noticed,
    The email sign up is the first thing you see. I doubt anybody is signing up before they have seen your art…
    I see that you have it in the sidebar as well I would keep it there but remove it on the landing page.
    By removing that your art will start show above the fold.

    I would also add a picture to the about me page, this is a site about you people want to see who they shop art from.

    Do you work with keywords at all to get visitor?
