Matomo Analytics?

I have been using both Matomo Analytics and PublishPress Authors on 4 sites, and recently learned that the 2 plug-ins conflict. I have had particular problems this week, as I updated PublishPress Authors based on the change log that stated that some changes were made to avoid conflicts with other plug-ins, but no luck—I have had critical errors on both sites. I have been able to keep PublishPress Authors and PublishPress Blocks active, deactivated Matomo Analytics, and we are small grassroots groups, so we can afford to wait to restore the analytics program (I really do all I can to avoid Google), but wanted to alert you and ask if you are aware of the conflict and plan to resolve it? Thanks for any information.

Hmm, looks like I am in the wrong area, but I did get a reply from Matomo that indicates it might be solved in the next iteration of their plug-in. Sorry for delay between replies—amateur volunteer here, juggling too much (as are most all of us!). Actually, I have both Blocks and Authors installed. I am O.K. with holding off on analytics for now.
