matching installer and package would be nice

    Hi Cory,

    This is more of a feature request than a support ticket.

    The installer in wp-snapshots folder has the same name as the package, but when it is downloaded through the plugin interface, it is downloaded simply as installer.php. Since it is not unusual for me to have more than one package and installer in the same folder on my computer, it would be nice if in some future release, an option could be included to allow for the installer to have the matching name with the package.

    Once again, this is one of my favorite plugins as is. Thanks so much.

    That is a possibility. Probably something we would have to hide in the Advanced section. You would be surprised at how many people that would confuse which means a whole series of support tickets…

    I’ll take a look into that, it may be a few iterations before that happens though… Thanks for the suggestion and feedback..

    You have enough support requests as it is. lol

    For now, I just rename the file to start with the first few digits/letters of the full name, then change it back to installer before using it.
