    Hello Team,

I’m writing on behalf of fossbytes.com

From last few days, Dynamic widget plugin is generating heavy (around 1.5 GB) of HHVM error logs in a day which is causing the site to downstate. After that, we again have to clear the error logs, and we are back to original state.

Here is the message we got from our hosting provider:

Our monitoring system has been alerted us about your server’s disk usage. The HHVM error log contained 144 GB of data because of the following widget:
[Tue Mar 21 18:21:17 2017] [hphp] [4610:7fa3423ff700:3189:71193214] [] \nWarning: readdir() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /www/fossbytesatlanta_179/public/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/dynwid_class.php on line 12

I’ve cleared the file and restarted everything, but this is a returning issue, the file generated during the past 24 hours. Please review the error and do the necessary changes. Also, we can disable the HHVM logging, but if something may happen, we won’t be able to recover everything from the log.

    Waiting for a helpful reply

    Thanks

Well, first of all the plugin has not been updated the last few days, so that can’t have triggered the issue.

Looking at the error and in the code, it seems something bad happened to the plugin. It lost the classes subdirectory in the plugin. I advise you to reinstall.
