# Mass Changes

 * I know when I used MT that it had the ability to do mass text changes within 
   your blog. Say if you had a URL change that you’ve used around your blog for 
   some time. Is there a way or a developed plugin to do something similar? I’ve
   looked around for “mass changes” but it could be listed under something completely
   different.

 * I just made changes like that. Not the best way to do it but I backed up the 
   database, gunzip’ed the compressed file and used a text editor to search and 
   replace the URL’s I wanted to change.
 * I restored the database, checked and all was well. I went for wp_comments table;
   be prepared to restore your unmodified backup.

 * Whew, I suppose if I have to, I will resort to that method 🙂 Thanks for the 
   input.
