Looking to create a resources page for our website and doing some research before I get started. Wanting to mimic and add to the idea that Mashable has come up with on their Explore page.

    http://mashable.com/explore/

What I would really like two different filters. One for top level categories and then sub-categories or topics beneath that. They can either filter by one or both.

For example they could choose webinars and it would show all webinars but then they could select webinars and and then a topic and it would show the webinars only for that topic. I like how the page sorts real time right there. Where can I find a solid example or tutorial on this?

Any help or push in the right direction would be great! Appreciate your time as always. As I learn and find resources myself I will update this post so that others will benefit as well.

I have almost completed this with various help from forums as well as other external websites. Will be trying to post somewhat of an explanation and at least resources with other items that helped me along the way to solving this problem for others to hopefully benefit from.

I ended up making a pretty cool double filtering system. However if you are looking for the single tag cloud like the mashable/explore page that solution will be wrapped up within the future reply as well. Thanks to everyone who helped on those other forum topics and sites! I love the WP community
