# Markup validation – XML parsing errors

 * I’m checking my [blog](http://therideprojekt.com/blog) for errors with the [Markup Validation Service](http://validator.w3.org/)
   an get 28 errors… such as XML parsing errors, no closing tags (which I double
   checked and don’t know why) and many other…
 * Need some advise on where to look. Maybe it is the header or the DOCTYPE… who
   knows
 * Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

 * Most of the errors appear to be in the site’s sidebar. You can safely ignore 
   all errors related to the `<embed>` element and it’s attributes. Concentrate 
   on the missing end tags and “document doesn’t allow” errors.
