I am having a hard time finding how to get rid of the sanitizing of HTML for the home page feature section for the Responsive Theme. I need to have things in italics and it shows the <em>. I would appreciate any guidance you have.

I had to go ahead without this issue resolved, so you can see the issue on the staging site now: http://crowdfutures.staging.wpengine.com

Hi,

It is possible to remove the tags by removing the esc_html function used.
For the purpose of sanitization of the data, we have used esc_html function to display the Features section description. Hence the html tags are being displayed.
It is recommended to create a child theme to do the file changes.
