Marketing Permissions area blank in welcome email

    Hi,

    When the welcome email is sent out after a subscription is confirmed, the “Marketing Permissions” area is always blank. We believe it should say “Marketing Permissions: Email”. Why would this be happening and how can we fix this?

    The MC4WP plugin does not support setting those marketing permission fields. We recommend turning off the marketing permission feature for your audience. Instead you can use interest groups to set marketing permissions if you find it necessary.

    We will add marketing permissions to our plugin at some point, but I can’t say when yet.
    As per GDPR rules it is perfectly possible to legally use our plugin and Mailchimp without setting these fields.
