    Hi,

    ad 1) you can use CSS to hide images with a definition like
    .lmm-listmarkers-popuptext img { display:none;}

    With v3.10.1 (to be released on Nov 21st there will be a new CSS class which allows you to better target the popuptext only:
    .lmm-listmarkers-popuptext-only img { display:none;}

    ad 2) displaying popuptexts on hovering is not supported at the moment – it might be added with a later release, although not sure yet
