Same problem here. The map icons are not visible on the map and also in the “add new location” dialog in “Map marker options” section. I edited a file “admin-display-icons.js” with the plugin editor where the source for markers were pointed to http://wpmapmarkers.com/ which is down.
I replaced this with my site address. Now the markers icons are visible in the add new location dialog but still not visible on the map.
Uncommented line 8 and 9 in a file panel.js and the icons become visible.
I also want to ask, if someone can help, how to get post content (location post) in marker info bubble.
I have uncommented line 8 and 9 in panel.js and I have edited admin-display-icons.js to point to my website. The maps are still not showing. Can anyone help me with this>
I’ve just realised that this problem seems to be Mac specific. Icons showing on PC.
Could it be anything to do with this?
… it seems that classes for pin IMG and DIV elements inside the map area have malformed background URLs – the protocol is not specified, so instead of http://gmstatic.com/something they read just //gstatic.com/something. This causes many browsers to (correctly) ignore the URLs. Chrome accepts this kind of URL.
The URLs in the sidebars are correct, so all browsers show images there.
I’ll try and have a look this week.
