# Markdown not parsed

 * I can’t get markdown parsing working in calendar descriptions:
 * – JP Markdown plugin is installed and activated
    – The calender list is displayed
   as widget – The feed is configured with `[description markdown="true"]` – The
   events description looks like
 * `Siehe [Beitrag](http://neu.dtv-wettingen.ch/wordpress/2015/03/14/kreis-minitramp-
   meisterschaft)`
 * – The very same text is printed in my calendar widget
 * Do I miss something? Help is very appreciated!

 * I’m afraid it doesn’t. I have tested with all markdown related plugins active
   one at a time – negative.
 * However, markdown is parsed in single post view but not in post list and not 
   in the calendar widget.
 * I temporarily patched the calender code. This proved that the Markdown function
   can not be found as found out by crookedneighbor in [ttps://github.com/pderksen/WP-Google-Calendar-Events/issues/23](https://github.com/pderksen/WP-Google-Calendar-Events/issues/23).
 * What can I investigate further?
