Margin between CONTENT and FOOTER changes

  • I modified the default Kubrick theme for my blog Chunk Food. On the index home page and on the pages where comments have been added, the margin between content and footer remains zero. However, if a comment is not added, there is an inexplicable 20 or 30 px margin. This
is an example of margin problem, while this
is an example of the margin working. I inspected the CSS and am confused how and why it changes. Any suggestions where to look?
