We bundle several products and their options using woocommerce variations. As an example, <https://fwfarms.com/product/2hp-watersmith-pro-fountain/> lists a fountain we sell with 4 different possible cord lengths, 3 different add-on lighting options, and a choice between two additional accessories. This means that a single variation could represent between one and three individual items. This has worked well for customers but is now creating a problem for bookkeeping; how to map a variation with multiple items to each corresponding individual item in the accounting software. We are currently doing this manually from each woocommerce sale to the accounting software but that is becoming untenable as sales continue to grow. Is there some way of mapping each variation to a list of individual items for syncing with accounting software? All of the syncing plugins I have so far found assumes each variation to be a single product.

    Hi there,

This is more a question for the accounting software integration you’re using as the core WooCommerce plugin doesn’t have any functions in that regard. Moving forward, I’d recommend reaching out to the developers of that integration or to consider using WooCommerce Zapier for a more flexible connection (assuming it’s an accounting system that has a publicly accessible REST API that can be used in zapier.com).
