  • Hey Lee,

I’m not sure I get your problem. What do you mean with “to show the new domain as root”?

Is it about mapping to child pages? If so, check out this issue, there’s a workaround to achieve this.

Otherwise I’d ask you to elaborate your issue.

    Hey Rob,

No, it’s not about child pages. If I scroll down and click on Page 2 of the blog roll, or if I click on individual posts within the blog, the domain name in the url reverts back to the site.com. The blog landing page may be blogdomain.com, but clicking on any other links within the blog takes me back to site.com.

At any rate, it looks like the plugin is for mapping individual pages only. I think I need to go to multi-site.’

Well, yes, you need to use multi-site.

DMS is only intended for single pages.

Dang, I am looking for this exact functionality as well…

Ben, you gotta go multi-site, which should be no problem for you 😉

I could, but that would be needless overkill. And in your case I think it is not the ideal solution because now you are managing a MultiSite and two sites within it.

I actually already had a design started on a plugin doing this “properly” ;). I may build it now
