• Please to anyone who can help. I recently purchase a new domain and hosting service from bluehost.com and wanted to use it for the purpose of redirecting my all ready in use blog poorwoman.wordpress.com to my own website poorwomanswords.com. In order to use my own themes and so forth. So I my problem is once I upgraded and then paid wordpress to map for an additional $10 I was unable to access my wordpress.org admin where I can use plugins and so forth. It only allows me to log in to my orginial wordpress.com. How do I fix this or do I just go back to my site without redirecting????????????

  • There is no “fix” for what you want. You misunderstood everything.

And wp.com issues should be discussed in their own forum, not here.
BTW, there is no wp.org “admin”. There are no blogs here on wordpress.org. But you can NOT combine an old wordpress.COM blog with another stand alone blog on the host of your choice. It just doesn’t work like that.

After installing your own WP script on your domain (you will need to undo that mapping/redirecting before that!!!) you will be able to export your posts from the wp.COM site and import them into your blog.

Now, with the rest of the technical issues go back to the wordpress.COM forum and contact pages.
