# Map starting point

 * Hello everything is fine?
 * Is it possible to make the starting point of the map variable according to the
   user’s IP? That is, wherever the user is is where the map will start.
 * I know that there is a way to previously define a point through latitude and 
   longitude, but I would like it to be variable according to the user’s location.

 * You can “simulate” a click on the “Show me where I am” button on page load. Here
   is a [support article where I described how to do this](https://www.open-user-map.com/knowledge-base/trigger-map-actions-with-javascript/#fly-to-the-current-user-position).
 * Just make sure to execute this after the page has been fully loaded.

 * I just added document.querySelector(‘.leaflet-control-locate a’).click(); in 
   my php function of my theme? Or is there something else to be done?
