The map loads fine in the event editing page… and even loads for a split second on the live event page, but then I get an error. I checked the JS console and these are the errors:

    Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError

    Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys

    Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired

Being that I already had an API key there, I created a brand new one used it. I am still getting these errors. Can someone help me? Or tell me if I am doing something wrong?

    Thank you!

  • Did you activated Google Maps JavaScript API, Google Maps Geolocation API and Google Places API Web Service at the Google API Developers Console?

I just checked. Yes, they are all enabled.

Do you have other plugins or a theme which need an API key? Try to use the same API key there or if you can disable this Google Maps there if you don’t need it. Maybe there’s a conflict anywhere.

I went through and removed the API from the other places it was. When I view page source, the API Key is there.

I also found some documentation about this error: Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired. I made the change to the script, but I am still getting the error.

It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
