I just updated to WordPress 5.0 and my map is no longer showing at all. I can see it’s still there on the back end — the markers and data are there. I tried creating a new page and adding the shortcode there, but that doesn’t work either. Any thoughts? Thank you!

    Hi Rene,

    thanks for reaching me out!
I’ve just tested it locally and it works like a charm: could you be so nice to send me a link where I can check it please?

If you prefer just drop me an email at my email address: info@responsivemapsplugin.com

By the way: have you upgraded to latest RVM version ( 5.7.1 )?
Does the console shows any issues?

    Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Enrico!

I am using the latest version and there are no errors anywhere. I will email you a link to check things out.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rene,

I’ve checked your link and indeed there are some issues in console on the front-end.
Some security ( CSP – Content security policy ) is blocking content and resources not only for RVM map.

Probably there is a plugin managing this or the .htaccess file.
Allowing the default-src mode should work.
Could you please deactivate other plugins one by one and check if map is back at every deactivation?

In that case just let me know which is the plugin 🙂
Or contact me via email to check the .htaccess together

Just let me know and good luck!

That was totally it — thank you so much! So just to clarify, it wasn’t WordPress 5.0 that broke this, it was that I had a very strict Content Security Policy (CSP) in place (via some code in my functions.php file).

Thanks again for your quick response + helpful reply!
