Map not showing on Event page

    Hi there, thanks for your great plugin. I have used it on this website in templates for different custom post types, it is working fine. https://dutchcaribbeanheritage.org/
    Except at event pages made with The Events Calendar Pro 7.3.1. I use the shortcode [travelers-map height=300px this_post=true post_id=….] but it seems the post_id can’t be found.

    I made sure Travelers’ Map has been activated on the event pages (Evenement), so this cannot be the problem.

    Do you have any idea or are there any known issues with using Travellers maps with The Events Calendar?

    Dear kukiko,

    Have you tried to use this_post=true without post_id ? this_post=true is already showing the pin of the actual page.

    If the pin is not set on the actual page, remove this_post=true 😉

    Hi Camille,
    Just now I see that you sent a reply, I guess I haven’t seen all my mail. Sorry for that.
    I tried [travelers-map height=300px this_post=true] and this is working fine on all post types but not at the event post types.
    The events can be single events (post_type=tribe_events) or series of events (post_type=tribe_event_series).
    If I try [travelers-map height=300px post_id=…] and I use the ID of the series of events, the map DOES show. If I use the post_id of one of the events of the series or of a single event, the map does not show.

    Dear Rianne,

    I’m having a hard time understanding what you want to do and the structure of your website.

    Some questions for you :

    You have two post types, tribe_events and tribe_event_series.

    • Do the not functionnal posts have markers set in their edit page ?
    • Is the tribe_event_series really a post_type or is it a taxonomy (like category or tags) ?
    • Is the tribe_event_series a sort of category and you want to show a list of tribe_events associated with them on there page ?
    • In the Travelers’ Map settings, did you check your two post_types in the first setting “Active Travelers map on” ?

    Let me know, also if you could send me links of a tribe_event, and another of a tribe_event_series so I understand better.
