Update Safari overnight. Running MacOS 10.15.6

Now the following buttons on the main post edit page no longer work. Specially I can’t use:

    – The button for editing permalink
    – Insert media button
    – Add tag

There may be others that I haven’t notice yet.

It sounds like you’re describing an older version of WordPress, or you’re using the Classic Editor.

    Which is it?

    Yes, Classic Editor.

I don’t have any choice about this.

Ok, I’m not having any trouble in the new Block Editor (introduced in WordPress 5) under Safari 14 and macOS 10.15.6.

In general, I recommend using the new editor: https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-editor/

If you absolutely must use the Classic Editor, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/classic-editor/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Thanks. I really can’t use the new editor. It breaks my workflow and things that are beyond my control. I’m terrified when I hear the Classic Editor is going to be discontinued. It would mean switching to a WordPress alternative.
