Many hexideicmal numbers in unsuccessful queries

    Hi,

    When I enable the log of the queries, I will see many strange hexidecimal numbers in the unsuccessful queries, like this:

    a90320590f323434

    What are these? And how to eliminate them in the search logs?

    Could be anything, likely some bots. Figure out which bot it is (it’s possible to find that out from the server access logs) and block that bot from accessing your site.

    It’s best if unwanted bots are not allowed to start up WordPress in the first place, but if that’s not an option, this keyword-based blocking is better than nothing.
