 * Is there a way to manually upload the dump .zip file via ftp? If so, what directory
   would you place it? Can the plugin then automatically extract and restore it?
 * I keep getting an ‘HTTP’ error (the error literally just says ‘HTTP’ in a red
   box) and I’m wondering if manually uploading the file via ftp would solve the
   problem.

 * Hi invot,
 * Thank you for reporting this issue.
    We have received a number of similar reports
   like yours. We were unable to replicate that issue on our servers and we tried
   on a few different platforms.
 * Could you assist us in debugging this problem?
    What OS is your server using?
   What browser are you using while you try to upload?
 * Thank you for your help.

 * I wanted to update this thread and to provide answer to the original question.

   We found the cause of the ‘HTTP error’. We are fixing it and will be releasing
   a new patch version – 1.2.1 that will fix this error. About manually importing
   a dump file – at the moment this is not possible, however I think it is a good
   idea to add a second way of importing a file, just like WordPress does with its
   plugin system. I am putting this on the roadmap for version 2.0.0
