    Hi!

I need to translate just one sentence in Woocommerce in Latvian on my account page.
I need to translate “A link to set a new password will be sent to your email address” in Latvian.
    I tried everything here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/
I tried Loco and PoEdit, but these both could not find this sentence in WooCommerce.

So how can I translate Woocommerce manually, if translating with programs don’t work?
    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello, @john1257

I need to translate “A link to set a new password will be sent to your email address” in Latvian.

As an alternative, you can use Say What? It is helpful to edit strings on your site:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/

I hope this leads you in the right direction. Thanks.

    Hi!

To change the string with Say What?, I need Woocommerce string plugin’s “text domain”.
    https://plugins.leewillis.co.uk/doc_post/adding-string-replacement/

I tried to find it, but could not.
What/Where is Woocommerce string plugin’s “text domain”?

    Thank you.

    I found string text domain

<p><?php esc_html_e( ‘A link to set a new password will be sent to your email address.’, ‘woocommerce’ ); ?></p>

in Plugin Editor, in templates- myaccount- form-login.php

But it is not working. I tried many variations.
    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you.

“Thank you” for nothing! And “thank” you for slow support!
I was tired to wait 5 hours for the answer, so I simply manually translated Woocommerce string in Plugin Editor and it works for now.

PS. I also left 1-star rating for your lazy support!
    Have a nice day!

Hi @john1257! Thanks for writing back!

Have you found it? I’m wondering it because I didn’t find that sentence on your site.

If you’re still facing this issue, could you share a screenshot and the link to that phrase?

Checking your site, when I click on Aizmirsāt paroli?, this is what I see:

I hope to hear from you soon! All the best,
