    Hi there,
Can you please explain how can I translate internal links with Translatepress? I lost few days trying to find solutions to my anchor links not being translated and I think there is no other way other than to manually translate them. I use Divi and have anchor links in my header and home page sections, both of them creating problems by switching language back to English. It would be great help if I can solve this problem with translatepress and not search for other plugins.

    Hi,

Could you be more precise? Which are these links? Screenshots will help
For example, just tried with contact-us link and seems is working just fine on Chinese langauge.

if you mean to change that internal link to another one, this is not allowed by our system. Just external links are translatable in this way: https://translatepress.com/docs/translation-editor/translate-links/

    Hi,

Anchor links that lead on another page are problem, contact is a link on same page. For example in navigation menu “Services” of the Home Page (company establishment, project management, project investment etc.), as well as same anchor links in “What we do” section of the Home Page. It is a link for example https://investinmontenegro.com/services/#03 that is not translated so when I’m in chinese language and click on one of mentioned anchor links it switches back to english.
Ok, if that is not allowed I guess it’s big problem not just for me but for everybody making this kind of sites and using translatepress. Do you have some suggestion for a workaround to solve this problem or should I just use another plugin and translate everything from scratch?

    BR,
    Luka

    Hi,

Just to add as info that I tried same thing on another site where I’m using Elementor page builder and it works fine, so this is an issue for anchor links in Divi page builder. I hope this is relevant info for you, and that you can help me find some kind of solution.

Since there is no answer, can somebody just confirm that there is no solution for translating anchor links in Divi with Translatepress so I can find other plugin for my current and future sites that works?

    Hi,

I checked your website but seems those links are working just fine. However, in the future, try as much as possible to use the full path for these links.

Hi, thanks but no thanks as this was not resolved via traslatepress. Links are working fine because last night I translated everythig from scratch using WPML.
Can’t believe you were not descent enough to reply before today when I found different solution, or that first time u didn’t try litteraly any link other then contact us, but I guess you did, you just didn’t know the answer. Your support is terrible…

    Hi,

We need to know that there is no response time set on the free forum. We try to come back with an answer as soon as possible, but those tickets are not prioritized.
