Support » Plugin: Responsive Lightbox by dFactory » Manually select the lightbox script on a per case basis

  • We need to use the PrettyPhoto script by default as it is the only script that allows our images to be resized in the lightbox but for a form we wish to load in a lightbox, it doesn’t work in PrettyPhoto at all so we want to override this to use Fancybox or Swipebox.

    Is this possible at all?

Some documentation for this plugin would be useful, couldn’t find any instructions, FAQ’s or anything, anywhere.

    2 quick options:

    1. I think prettyPhoto can handle modal mode pretty well (iframe or AJAX, the way you prefer): here’s the script docs: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/

Just modify your form links using appropiate atributes.

    2. It would be possible to do it even tough we’ve never thought about such usecase.
    Try that:
    – manually embedding prettyPhoto script in your theme on selected pages.
    – selecting fancybox or swipebox in RL settings
    – manually deregistering script selected in RL settings using it’s name from the code (‘responsive-lightbox-fancybox’ for fancybox)
