This is a good idea for a next version… For instance, a shorttag [sociallinkz button=’facebook,google+’] would fit your need ?
Just for my personal interest, what is the use case ?
I run an event where we allow our community vote for their favorite speaker:

We use Facebook Likes and Google Pluses as “votes”.
Also, in order to do this, we’d need to be able to assign a specific URL to the icons, so that people can LIKE or PLUS a page, from a different page.
For example:
[sociallinkz url=’http://www.yourdomain.com/page.html’%5D
Can that be done?
To completely answer your question, we’d like to have posts to use the full list of social icons, but for our voting, only use 2 or 3.

I know how to access the database, but not really very familiar with it. I know of it and how it works.
I do have basic knowledge of PHP and HTML, in case you need me to look and install code.
