# Manually add members

 * Is there a wa y to manually add members without using the csv import? The non-
   profit organization I am building for already has several members. I want to 
   add these members to the new membership area I am creating using this plugin.
   There was no online member area previoulsy. Here is the site where I am adding
   this:

 * That depends – are these going to be recurring subscription members or do they
   just need the membership level?
 * If you just need to add the users and assign them membership levels, you can 
   still do it with the [PMPro Import From CSV plugin](http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/third-party-integration/pmpro-import-users-csv/),
   regardless whether or not there was a membership site before. Just set up your
   levels the way you want, and make sure the membership_id column is added to your

 * If you want to create recurring subscriptions as well, the easiest thing to do
   would be to just check out as those members individually.
