Open Tickets is built on top of WooCommerce, and it is this that handles all orders
What you can do is click on WooCommerce / Orders in your Dashboard and locate the ticket order in question
on the right hand side of each ticket’s details is an icon you can click to “View”
Once viewed you can then manually Change the order status to one of the others that WooCommerce offers
Hey @aroldan,
I read your question again, and I think the answer should be clarified and refocused a little. Your question is specifically about the ‘checkin status’ not the ‘order status’. While @eilvbell is correct about WooCommerce handling ‘order statuses’, the ‘checkin status’ is actually handled by our software, internally. Currently, there is no way to manually change a given ticket’s ‘checkin status’.
The only way to update it currently is to change a given ticket from ‘confirmed’ to ‘occupied’, using a qr-code scanner to scan the code on the ticket. This also means that there is no way to really ‘undo’ that operation either, because it is currently one-way. I agree that it would be a nice feature to be able to edit it manually, and to undo it if need be. I will toss around the idea with a the staff, and see if we can work this in, and where it actually fits.
Great suggestion,
Loushou
This ticket is being kept open so we can decide if we can incorporate the functionality that Arnaldo has referenced above in a future release of the Plugin…

@aroldan Check-in manually in the admin is now in our feature backlog. This will be included in a future release. You should receive notices when updates are available in the wp-admin.
best of luck!
I would also be interested in this feature. In the meantime I’m planning to just open the ticket in the admin section and scan it off the computer screen. I tested that method and it seems to work fine.
