[Resolved] Manual Prune Button

  • I noticed that you have a optional cron to automatically prune the database. This is a great feature and I’m wondering if you can add a second button to the page in the settings that would manually start the process.

I run WordPress on an IIS server (unfortunately) and wp-cron does not work on this system, and not to mention the handful of file writing permissions problems I encounter every week.

It would be very helpful if I could click a button to fire the process manually once in a while the for people who are using it on our multi-site installation.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joe

My development system is running on Microsoft IIS and wp-cron runs fine, however if you want to run it manually you can do so.

Go to Statistics->Optimization->Purging->Purge records older than…

Dude you are a genius! I didn’t think to look in the optimization settings. Sorry for bugging you.
