# Manual Code For Custom Field?

 * I have WordPress integrated with my site’s forum software, in which the news 
   posts from the forum make their way onto WP. However, the skin I use for WP allows
   me to define a thumbnail by using the custom field ‘thumb’. Is there anything
   I can enter via the forum post that will be recognized by WP as the custom content?
   Or do I have to manually enter the thumbnail each time I post a news article?

 * I know that BBpress for WordPress allows a full integration of functionality,
   so if you have that one, it *might* be possible. If you use other forum software,
   I doubt, so you will have to do it manually.
