I’ve been using this plugin for a couple of years and it’s jut perfect. So thank you!

I’m wondering if there’s any easy way to manipulate the order of the posts. Sometimes we have circumstances where we would like a page to be displayed and we currently reload the page enough times to make it appear, which is time consuming and incredibly boring.

Well, you could edit WPP’s database tables and insert the data manually. It’s still manual work but I guess is still less than having to click N amount of times on the refresh button from the browser.

WPP stores its data in two separate tables:

    1. wp_popularpostsdata: stores the total views count of every post & page. This is where the “All-time” / “Hall of Fame” data comes from.
    2. wp_popularpostssummary: stores the views data used by the Time Range feature (last 24 hours, last 7 days, etc.).

With that being said, personally I think that maybe you’re using the wrong plugin for this. If you want to highlight specific posts/pages maybe you should consider using a featured/recommended posts plugin instead and keep WPP to highlight popular posts. It would likely require less manual work than what you’re trying to do now 😛
