  • The width is set in here in the style.css file:

    #siteWrapper {
        margin: 0 auto;
        padding-top: 15px;
        position: relative;
        text-align: center;
        width: 500px;
    }

    Although it’s not the best coding, you can get rid of the title by adding the display: none; to the following:

    h1 {
        display: none;
        font-size: 3.3em;
        font-weight: normal;
        letter-spacing: 0.05em;
        margin: 10px 0 20px;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        word-spacing: 0.2em;
    }

    Thanx with the siteWarpper, however the blog content is not centerd anymore?!?! I dont get it since the coding says “text-align: center”

    I still need to know how to add a logo/picture at the top (head) of the blog.

    The section containing the content is NOT centered — it is coded to float: left and width of 500px — see below CSS:

    #coreContent {
        float: left;
        margin-top: 8px;
        width: 500px;
    }

    So you’ll have to change those too. This is the typical challenge with modifying CSS layouts — when you make one change — it often causes other problems or requires more changes. You should read the Codex on CSS and learn how to use Firebug if you want to customize your pages. In general, extensive CSS help is beyond the scope of these forums…

    On the header logo, that’s beyond my knowledge — as you will need modify the header.php file. Hopefully someone else will chime in on that.

    One thing you might consider is finding a theme that more closely matches what you want from the start.

    Thanx for the info! I tried to find other themes but i couldn’t find one that matches. All I need is a larger titel and I’m set!
    thanx
