  • I am using the Mannifest theme as a self-hosted wordpress theme. I got it from here:

As you can see there is a section in the footer called “Elsewhere” where you can upload links to your flickr, youtube etc accounts, but where in the wordpress interface do I do that? I thought it would just be in the links section, but the links show up in a dedicated link page.

    Any pointers?

    Thank you.

  • Hello, Anna!

Those are just a link category like you would normally see in the blogroll widget in a sidebar. You can set it up and change them using the links dialog in your dashboard settings. These are the instructions from the readme.txt file found in the theme folder:

    “- Footer Links
The footer links are controlled via the “Links” feature in WordPress. To assign a link to the footer, create a link category called “footer” and assign the links to that category.”

Good luck to you! And thank you for pointing me to this theme. I’m going to experiment with it for a while!

Oh fantastic! Thanks very much. I never think to check the theme folder for instructions… duh!

It’s a great looking theme as it is so uncluttered. Not many of those out there. 🙂
