 * I was curious if there was a way that I can make filling some/all fields in a
   new post MANDATORY by my users before they can submit it?
 * Lots dont care to fill in important details – and I end up wondering.
 * Thanks a lot – Ive looked up the plugin directory to no avail.

 * I want to change the default post functionality – I added a couple extra fields–
   like deadlines and price to be selected by users – using “More Fields” but would
   there be a way to make those fields mandatory?
 * So everyone provides a value for them?

 * yes it is possible i have written a plugin for that and here is the [link](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mandatory-fields/)
   but its still in beta … would be adding news release soon .. check it out if 
   you like it …
