# Mandatory Email

 * Hi Marcel,
 * I’ve just found what seems to be a small bug in the system. We are able to set
   the email field as mandatory. However as a user, it seems that you are able to
   include an email that has no “@” or “.com”. This has resulted in some users including
   the email address “none” and it not being rejected by the entry process.
 * Please let me know if this is something that can be fixed?

 * The validation of version 1.1.8 works fine!
    Could a similar validation of the
   Website URL (FILTER_VALIDATE_URL) make sense?

 * It might, but I’m not sure if it’s a real addition 🙂
    It makes only sense that
   if someone enters google.com, to place http:// in front of it. But then, every
   domainname will validate, because [http://none](http://none) is a valid URL.
