    By any chance is there a plugin that could handle changing the post title to <h1> in single post pages – putting the blog title with <h2>;

    And keeping the way it is in the home page (that is, the blog title with <h1>) ?

    This question came from this topic.

    Thanks

  • You already have the answer from the other topic – the tags are normally hard-coded into your theme. Therefore, no plugin can change them – you must edit your theme’s files.

    And it was explained to you in that other topic what you need to do the get the result you want. This is a theme thing. It is not something a plugin could easily do. The themes wrap the title in those tags (or in one or more or several other possible tags) not the WP core. There is no way for a plugin to ‘hook’ into the individual themes in order to change that value, at least in most cases. There may be exceptions.

    OK, I see now. Thank you all.

    I think I solved the problem following some instruction from this post (outside WP.org) .

    I changed it a little bit here and there in order to fit my needs and my site, and I believe it did pretty much what I was looking for.

    Just wanted to share with other who might someday arrive at this topic.

    Now I’m looking for some help on tracking clicks on banners, if someone has some clues on that I’d love to have your feedback on this topic.

    Tks.
