 * Relatively green person so far as all this goes, so I apologize if this is a
   waste of time. But does this app support Managed WordPress site? My site is managed
   by 1&1, and the plug-in does not seem to be working unfortunately. There are
   multiple errors telling me to make sure the app can write to root.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fmanaged-wordpress-pages%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hello [@anthonye1778](https://wordpress.org/support/users/anthonye1778/),
 * Good day and thanks for trying out our plugin Super Progressive Web Apps.
 * As for the working of Progressive Web Apps, we write two files called **web manifest**
   and **Service Worker** file into the root of WordPress. Within your server, the
   write permission of files (to the root) may be restricted by the **1&1**.
 * I believe this write permission issue can be resolved by your hosting provider.
   So can you please contact 1&1 customer support mentioning the details that I
   shared?
 * Looking forward.
 * Thanks,
    Jose

 * Okay yeah thank you! I have tried and tried to find differemt security settings
   to fix this but cannot find anything related, so it looks like I might just have
   to contact them directly. Thanks!

 * This thread has been marked as resolved due to lack of activity and the permission
   to write is restricted by your hosting provider. As I mentioned [above ](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/managed-wordpress-pages/#post-10163849).
 * You’re always welcome to open a new topic if you face any issue after having
   permission to write files.
 * Thanks for understanding!
