    Sounds like a pagination problem with edit not knowing what page to pull up. I will investigate and put on the bug list.

    I am also having this same issue. In addition to the issue stated here;

    I imagine they are related.

    The path issue is unrelated.

    A simplified version of what is happening, and now that I can reproduce it I can hopefully come up with a fix:

    – You have 2+ pages of locations

    – You enter a word that is only found on page #2 and click “search locations”

    – A list of a handful of locations shows up, essentially page 1 of the search results.

    – Click edit on the icon for one of those locations

    – The manage locations screen resets back to “list all locations” but the edit flag is for a location now on page #2. Your location being edited is NOT on page #1 so you don’t see it.

    A couple of notes about this while I work on a fix:

    1) If you clicked on page 2 you would see the edit form open there. A huge pain, especially if you have 500+ locations and don’t know if it is on page #5, 9, 12 or whatever.

    2) You can set Show # Locations to a higher number. If you have 500 locations, set it to 500 before searching & editing. Of course this means more work on the server. If your server is not fast you may get a page time out before you see all 500 (or more locations).

    I’m playing with this now and hope to have a fix soon. Definitely in 3.8.13 but not sure the release date yet (soon, as I noted on my FaceBook page I’m trying to do small & frequent updates).

    Thanks for the workaround.

    Version 3.8.13 pre-release (don’t use on production system, I’ve not tested it yet) should fix this issue:
