manage email subscribers

I was wondering if there’s a way to limit the amount of emails that get sent to subscribers of my blog. I understand that every time I publish a new post then it gets sent to my subscribers automatically. If I post a dozen different posts per day then this will become a spam email issue on their end.

How can I manage this? Is there any plugins that I should be using?
